My Practice.

Empowering people to live their best life by getting them in touch with what is blocking them- fears, hurts, unhelpful thoughts, and behaviours and emotional wounds, is my greatest passion. I have worked with countless individuals to help them shine, and have experience addressing various issues including low self-esteem, grief, anxiety, depression, communication issues, and various forms of trauma.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology. Additionally, I regularly invest my time in specialized training as a means to ensure that those I work with receive the highest quality of care and support.

As such, I have received specialized training in the following subject areas:

  • Grief and bereavement
  • Trauma/Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Emotionally Focused Couple’s Therapy (EFT)
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
  • Suicide intervention

My clinical practice is centered on the notion that YOU are the only expert on you. I firmly believe that my role as your counsellor is to sit alongside you as you guide us to where you would like to go. My job is simply to help you forge the path.

I draw from a variety of approaches in my clinical practice including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness and art based interventions. In any case, I am deeply committed to finding an approach that is best suited to your unique goals and needs.
